Kol Dorot Daily - Passover Ends Tonight

Today is DAY SIX of the Omer.

Today is a Festival Day, the seventh and final day of Passover. The Torah tells us, "You shall eat unleavened bread for seven days....The seventh day shall be a sacred occasion: you shall not work at your occupations" (Leviticus 23:6-8).

Why do some Jews in the Diaspora observe an eighth day of Passover? Find out here.

In observance of the Festival, I will keep this brief. As we break our Passover this evening and return to bread, pasta, and all things leavened, may we continue to be inspired by the Passover spirit of renewal and freedom.
