The Social Action Committee is continuing to collect specific items for our “Just One More Thing” program. We are asking each family to pick up “Just One More Thing” when they go to the store.
This month we're helping with three collections:
First, we are asking for people to pick up Women’s Deodorant, Shampoo and Conditioner, and Liquid Hand Soap which will be donated to the Helping Hands Food Pantry. These items are determined by the food pantry to be what they need most for this month and can change from month to month. We will be accepting donations through December 28th.
Second, we are collecting Winter Coats and Boots in good condition until December 13th, for delivery to the Calvary United Methodist Church in Dumont on the 14th. Please email Jamie Steinberg (JamieTerp@aol.com) for drop-off locations for your donations.
And third, the Bergen County Jewish Council Thrift Shop, located in Bergenfield, is accepting donations of clean, undamaged Winter Clothing, Boots, and Housewares. These can be brought to their location Monday through Friday, 11 am - 4 pm. All clothing must be in bags (no hangers) and other items in boxes (no loose items).
