At Kol Dorot Early Learning Center, our curriculum is designed to build confidence, foster independence, and enhance socialization at all age levels. Throughout the school, learning takes place in an environment that meets children at their level and works to progress forward through exploration and discovery. Music and nature programs are a special part of every child’s core program along with in school and after school enrichment opportunities. We welcome children of all faiths and backgrounds as we gently infuse Jewish values and traditions into each classroom through Shabbat celebrations, holidays, cooking and song. In addition to our core programs an extended day option is available from 7 am to 6:30 pm.

In the two year old classes, the focus is on assisting children through separation, enhancing language and socialization skills while fostering independence. The curriculum builds upon itself adding new challenges to familiar routines. Our program is full of creativity and movement and is designed to meet the developmental needs of a growing two year old.
Three-Year Old Core Program
Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (curriculum includes time for lunch)
In the three-year old classes, the program provides challenging opportunities to advance children’s skills as they transition into a deeper level of learning. Lunch becomes part of the curriculum, enhancing the classroom community and furthering each child’s independence and socialization. The classroom environment is filled with the written word as circle time and work time take on a new level of complexity. Life- long skills are incorporated into the daily routine building on the social, emotional, physical and cognitive foundation necessary for the more academic years to follow.
Four-Year Old Core Program
Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (curriculum includes time for lunch)
In the four-year-old classes our Kindergarten Bound readiness program helps each child fine tune the skills they will need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally as they transition toward kindergarten. Children master the readiness skills through a multi-sensory approach which include, songs, games and group activities. We build upon the community formed in the earlier years and go further into developing their environment and curriculum. By exploring and questioning, our four-year-olds continue to develop strong self-esteem and expand their inherent curiosity of the world around them.
We look forward to seeing you!
